This year, I HAD to have corn stalks as part of my porch decorating. I found these 10 foot corn stalks and was hooked. I mean, come on, there is still corn on them and everything!! Does it get any cuter than that? Unfortunately, I had to get them home somehow...and the only way to do it was to tie them to the roof of my car.
This is how we drove for 25 miles....with bits of corn stalk flying off and smacking the windshields of other cars. Thank gosh Briggs isn't old enough to find his mommy embarrassing yet.
I propped them up on either side of my front door and secured them with some galvanized wire.
These can stay up for Thanksgiving as well! I love them!
